STEVE WOZNIAK EXPERIMENTS VR PROJECT ’MARS 2030’ WITH ART FROM SPARX*

April 26th 2016 – Sparx* had the exciting opportunity to partner with FUSION on a VR experiment: Mars 2030.

Mars 2030 is an immersive VR experience that allows users to feel what it is like to stand on the surface of Mars .The project was developed using scientifically accurate satellite imagery and data gathered in years of exploration missions.

Sparx* supported FUSION by producing high quality assets such as vehicles, suits, habitats and machinery and matched the highest level of graphics fidelity possible so that the VR experience can be fully appreciated.

Jen-Hsun Huang, Nvidia CEO, introduced Mars 2030 to Steve Wozniak to try out during ‎GTC 2016.

"This is going to be incredible for whoever actually gets to travel to Mars!" said the co-founder of Apple.

Made in the Unreal Engine 4 the production version will be available to the public later this year, free of charge, via a wide-range of platforms and products including Oculus Rift, Google Cardboard, and Samsung VR Gear.
